Dear Host Family,

My name is Ani Syarina Rahayu, but you can call me Ani. I am 24 years old and come from Riau, Indonesia. I am the second of three children and grew up in a close and supportive family.
I would describe myself as calm, patient, responsible, caring, friendly, and cheerful. I enjoy listening to others, respecting differences, and getting to know new people. I may need a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment, but I always try to stay positive, adapt, and learn from new experiences.
I would like to become an au pair because I see this experience as an opportunity not only to live abroad, but also to learn, grow, and become more independent. I am especially interested in Austrian culture and family life, and I would love to experience everyday life with an Austrian family. I also want to improve my German through daily communication.

I enjoy spending time with children. During a three-month community service program, I accompanied children and helped them learn to read and write. I also taught them about hygiene, simple manners, and encouraged them to have dreams for their future. In addition, I taught at a school in Medan for three months and have often spent time with my nieces and nephews since they were young.I enjoy simple activities with children, such as reading books, playing, making crafts, baking, going for walks, or simply talking and spending time together. I understand that every family has its own routines, rules, and parenting style, and I am willing to listen, learn, respect your rules, and adapt to your family life.

I would also be happy to share Indonesian culture with your family through food, stories, traditions, and everyday life. My native language is Indonesian. I have an A1 German certificate and have continued learning German up to B1 level. I also have basic English skills and am motivated to keep improving my languages.I hope to find a warm and open-minded host family where we can build a trusting and respectful relationship. For me, being an au pair is about learning from each other, sharing experiences, helping one another, and becoming part of a family.
