Hello, my name is Lahatriniaina, which means ‘life destiny’ in English, and my nickname is Mariah. I am currently twenty-three years old and I come from Madagascar. I was raised in a large family, which made me outgoing. I am very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and to have an enriching experience in the United States. I have several years of childcare experience, working with children of different ages and genders, from kindergarten to third grade. I've volunteered teaching French and English to students, boys and girls aged approximately six to teen years old, in 9th and 10th grade classes, which has allowed me to develop my teaching skills. I enjoy organizing fun and educational activities for children - through these experiences, I've developed a loving, patient, and creative approach to childcare. I love playing, learning, and having fun with children while ensuring their safety and well-being. I’m calm in tricky situations and love making learning fun! I’m open to helping with light housework and taking care of pets if needed. I hope to find a welcoming family that values education, open-mindedness, and kindness. I would like to create meaningful memories with children and be a positive influence in their lives. I am eager to discover a new culture, improve my English and help a family with childcare. Back in Madagascar, I plan to apply my management skills and intercultural experience in a professional setting, possibly in education or social work. I'd also like to share my learnings with others and contribute to my country's development.
