Personally, for over 30 years, I have been taking steps, and building skill sets which allow me to be a progressive co-parent/nanny. What I have discovered in my 10 years with infants, toddlers, and children, is that I work well with families who intrinsically believe in every sense of the word that their children are the most important - above and beyond all else. From my perspective, child CARE is the most important job on the planet. My philosophy is that children absorb our (especially parents) energy, language and behaviors immediately and without even knowing it. Personally, my charge to myself is to endow your children with respect, kindness, courage and knowledge. I believe that when surrounded by and taught language and behaviors to support these Virtues, your children will automatically and naturally return such Vital Energy and philosophy.
I do not take my job lightly. Your kids will be the epicenter of my world when I am on duty. When I am not, I will be preparing lesson plans, & Fun+Stuff.
In brief, you should know that I am loving and kind, these characteristics balance discipline. Moreover, I will engage your children on many levels, particularly to empower them while having FUN. The outcome of this equilibrium is happy, joyful, contented Inter+Personal Relationships.
