My name is Myra, and I am from the Philippines. I studied Practical Nursing and Intensive Caregiving, where I gained hands-on experience through internships in hospital settings, geriatrics, and caring for children with special needs.
I also have experience working in an office environment as an administrative and currently work as an Executive Secretary. I am trained in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), which has given me additional knowledge and confidence in responding to emergencies.
I enjoy outdoor activities, especially swimming and spending time in nature. I also love cooking, traveling, and exploring new places, cultures, and traditions. I have traveled to different parts of the Philippines and enjoy learning about the unique beauty and culture of each place.
I also have a small signature dot tattoo on my left hand from Apo Whang-Od, a legendary Filipino Mambabatok (traditional tattoo artist) from the Philippines. It is a meaningful reminder of our Filipino culture and heritage.
I had a great experience working abroad, where I worked in Qatar for four years. I would love to work as a nanny because taking care of children is one of my passions.
I have experience working as a nanny for an American family, where my main responsibility was to take care of their son. I prepared his meals, picked him up from school, and took him to his swimming and Taekwondo classes after school. I also accompanied him to his extracurricular activities on Fridays, including T-ball and soccer classes.
In addition, I accompanied him to playdates and birthday parties and made sure he was safe, happy, and well cared for throughout the day.
