Dear Host Family,
My name is Janica, and I am a Filipino caregiver with several years of experience caring for children. I am a hardworking, responsible, patient, and caring person who enjoys being around children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe and loved.
I have around four years of childcare and nanny experience, caring for children from newborns to 6 years old. I have worked in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, where I learned how to take care of children with different needs and personalities. My responsibilities included preparing meals, helping with bathing and dressing, keeping their surroundings clean and organized, assisting with daily routines, playing with them, and making sure they were safe and comfortable. I am also willing to help with appropriate household duties related to the children.
Working as a domestic helper and nanny abroad has taught me many valuable lessons. I have learned to be patient, flexible, respectful, independent, and responsible. I understand that every child is different, so I always try to understand their needs and treat them with kindness and patience.
I am also a mother of two children, which has given me a deeper understanding of the love, responsibility, patience, and dedication that children need. Being a mother has helped me become more caring and attentive, and my experience raising my own children, together with my professional childcare experience, has strengthened my confidence in caring for young children.
