Introduction
I am a Kenyan early childhood educator with practical experience caring for and teaching young children. I have worked at Nyali Playhouse and Rainbow Connection Kindergarten and Primary School, where I gained experience supporting children's learning, development, behaviour and daily classroom routines.
At Rainbow Connection, I worked with children in Playgroup and PP2. My responsibilities included preparing and supporting learning activities, helping children develop early literacy and numeracy skills, encouraging positive behaviour, and creating a welcoming environment for learning. I also gained experience communicating with parents and working with colleagues to support children's progress.
My experience has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, kindness and understanding that every child develops differently. I am attentive to children's needs and believe in guiding them with love while maintaining appropriate boundaries and routines.
