Dear Host Family,

My name is Ashura and I am from Tanzania. I am a hardworking, honest, respectful and reliable person who enjoys helping others and being part of a family environment.

I am looking for a kind and welcoming host family where I can work as an Au Pair and help with childcare and light household responsibilities. I would love the opportunity to care for your children, support their daily routines and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy.

I am patient and caring, and I understand that every child is different. I am willing to learn your family’s routines and follow your instructions and house rules. I can help with activities such as preparing simple meals, helping children get ready, playing with them, keeping their rooms and play areas tidy, laundry, shopping and other reasonable household tasks related to the children.

I also have experience working in a busy customer-service environment, where I learned to be responsible, patient, trustworthy and respectful when dealing with different people. I am comfortable communicating with others and I am willing to learn new skills.

I am especially interested in a live-in Au Pair position because I would like to become part of a family, learn about a new culture and gain valuable life experience while helping with the children and household. I am open-minded and respectful of different cultures, lifestyles and family traditions.

I would be happy to spend time with the children, help them with simple learning activities and homework where appropriate, and take part in activities that they enjoy. I am also willing to care for young children and assist with everyday routines, provided that we agree clearly on the responsibilities.
