My name is Winnie Peace and I am 22 years old from Kampala, Uganda ????

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about me. I am looking for a loving family to become part of for 12 months starting December 2027. I am excited about the opportunity to experience a new culture, learn a new language, and most importantly, to care for and grow with your children.

ABOUT ME
I am a trained and qualified Certificate Nurse in Uganda. Working as a Nurse has taught me responsibility, patience, calmness under pressure, and how to care for people with love and respect. I am a naturally warm, outgoing, organized, and positive person. I believe in honesty, hard work, and treating everyone with kindness.

I come from a big, close family and I have always loved being around children. Since I was young I dreamed of becoming a teacher, and for the past 2+ years I have been working with children in hospitals and in my community. Caring for children is not just a job for me, it is something I truly enjoy and it brings me so much joy.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN
?? Babies 6 months+ : I have hospital experience caring for infants. I am comfortable with feeding, changing, nap routines, bath time, and keeping a safe and clean environment.
?? Toddlers 1-3 years : I love playtime, reading books, singing songs, arts and crafts, and teaching simple words and manners.
?? School Age 4-12 years : I enjoy helping with homework, preparing healthy snacks, talking, playing outdoor games, and supporting their hobbies like football, music, and drawing.

I am patient, energetic, and I believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and have fun. I also have experience caring for children with different needs and personalities.

WHAT I CAN OFFER YOUR FAMILY
? Reliable childcare : I will treat your children with the same care and love I give my own family. Safety and happiness come first.
? Help with daily routines : Morning routines, school/kindergarten drop-off and pick-up by bus or metro, after-school activities, bath time, bedtime.
? Light household support : I am happy to help with children’s laundry, tidying play areas and kitchen, preparing simple meals for the children, and keeping common areas organized.
? Cultural exchange : I would love to share Ugandan food, music, stories and traditions with your family while learning about your culture, language, and way of life.
? Pet friendly : I grew up around animals and I love dogs. I am happy to help care for family pets with kindness and responsibility.

PERSONALITY & VALUES
I am described as responsible, trustworthy, flexible, tidy, and respectful. I am a non-smoker. I adapt quickly to new environments and I am a good communicator. I believe open communication is the key to a happy host family and au pair relationship.

I am also eager to learn. I speak fluent English and I am motivated to learn Dutch, German, Finnish, or any language your family speaks. I love learning new recipes, traditions, and being part of family life.

WHY I WANT TO BE AN AU PAIR
I want to be an au pair because I love children and I want to grow as a person. I want to experience living in another country, improve my language skills, and build meaningful friendships that last a lifetime. I am not looking for just a job. I am looking for a second family where I can contribute, learn, and create beautiful memories together.
