My name is Karen , I´m 26 years old. I'm from Colombia. I live in a house with 3 roomates. Not long ago, I found my mother, but she is the more important person for me. I'm a bachelor´s degree in languages in December of 2019. I only have a basic teacher's course, but I have to teach all the different subjects in grades kindergarden to first. Apart from that, I worked in a Children's Foundation where I had to take care of them for example, I getting the children dressed, fed, down for naps, and bathed in the morning or nappy changed.
I want to become an au pair cause I studied languages in my country but I think that isn't the same you learn about another language when you haven't the necessary of the communication with other people in this language. For that reason, it´s very important you are in this context for can improve your listening, writing, speaking and reading. Sincerely, I consider that living abroad will give me the chance I would enter the culture, get used to the language, traditions and feeling part of it. For that its fantastic for me can live with an American host family cause you can practise all day long and at the same time expand your vocabulary and improve your pronunciation. As well as, for me is a great enrichment personal can take care and support the family with your children cause I think that it´s fantastic to show my talents with the children and every they could learn with me and my culture.
In my free time, I like singing (Opera), I like taking pictures, I like to go to the Gym and sometimes do aerobics exercises. I love to dance to every type of music and also travel.
