Hi! My name is Miyah! ?? I’m someone who loves being outdoors, spending time with animals, watching movies, and trying new things. I would describe myself as a calm, patient, creative, and reliable person, and I really enjoy being around kids and getting to see their personalities grow.
For the past three years, I’ve worked as a program assistant for my local park district, including working as a counselor at a horse-themed summer camp. I helped supervise kids, plan activities, and care for the horses. I also help with riding lessons and am CPR certified. These experiences have taught me a lot about being responsible, adapting to different situations, and making sure kids feel safe while still having fun.
Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I hope to study zoology and eventually become an exotic animal veterinarian. I love learning new things and being surrounded by people and experiences that help me grow.
One of the things that excites me most about becoming an au pair is the chance to experience a new culture, meet new people, and become part of a family rather than just someone who helps with childcare. I’d love to build a genuine connection with my host family, share parts of my own life and culture, and create fun memories together!
