Hello, dear host family!

My name is Rica, and I am from Bohol, Philippines. I am a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship graduate from Bohol Island State University – Main Campus. I consider myself a friendly, patient, responsible, and hardworking person who enjoys learning new things and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I have experience working as a temporary reliever Sales Associate and as a cashier in a convenience store. Through these experiences, I developed my communication, teamwork, customer service, and time management skills. I learned how to interact with different people, stay organized, handle responsibilities carefully, and remain patient in different situations. I believe these qualities will help me become a reliable and supportive Au Pair.

I also have experience taking care of my younger cousins. When my aunt had to work and I had no classes, I would babysit them. On weekends, I also looked after them and received a little allowance in return. My responsibilities were not limited to watching over them. I also helped them with their school modules and guided them through their activities whenever they needed help. This experience taught me to be patient, responsible, and attentive to children's needs. It also allowed me to enjoy spending time with children while helping them learn and understand their schoolwork.

I want to become an Au Pair because I am excited to experience a new culture, learn about different traditions, improve my language skills, and build meaningful relationships with a host family. I also look forward to learning new things, becoming more independent, and growing as a person.

I would love to help children with age-appropriate activities, such as reading stories, playing educational games, drawing, and doing fun activities together. I enjoy helping children learn new things, express themselves, and develop their confidence. I understand that every child has a different personality and needs, so I am willing to be patient, attentive, and open to learning how to care for them properly.

As a person, I enjoy music, watching movies, and learning new things. I value kindness, honesty, respect, and good communication. I am also willing to follow your family's rules, respect your traditions, and adapt to your household routines.

Although I am still at the beginning of my journey as an Au Pair, I am eager to learn and take this opportunity seriously. I understand that being an Au Pair is not only about traveling but also about responsibility, cultural exchange, and becoming a trustworthy member of a host family.
