Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Daisy, I am 23 years old from Nairobi, Kenya. I am a caring, patient and God-fearing young woman and I would love to become a big sister to your children.
I come from a close family of 4 where we support each other. Since I was 16, I have been the trusted babysitter for my two younger siblings (now 4 and 7) and for a neighbor's family with a baby girl. I prepare porridge and meals, help with homework, bathe them, play, sing, take them to church on Sunday and put them to sleep. Children say I am fun but also calm when they cry.
I have completed High School, I speak fluent English and native Swahili, and I am learning basic German (A1). I am non-smoker, no alcohol, healthy, with First Aid training and a clean Certificate of Good Conduct. I can provide 2 reference letters.
Why au pair? I truly love children and I want cultural exchange - to join your family, learn your language and culture, and share my Kenyan culture with you. I can cook chapati, pilau, and I love teaching kids games and songs from Kenya.
You can expect from me: safety first, honesty, respect for your rules, tidy children's rooms and laundry, and open communication. I am flexible, hardworking and always on time.
